Missouri CDS Program

What Is the Missouri CDS Program?

The Missouri CDS Program is part of the state’s Medicaid program and helps adults with disabilities or chronic health conditions remain safely at home.

With CDS, the person needing care (called the “consumer”) can choose their own caregiver — often a family member or friend — instead of using an agency-assigned caregiver. Best of all, the caregiver gets paid for the care they’re already providing.

Who Qualifies for CDS in Missouri?

To qualify for the Missouri CDS program, you or your loved one must:
