Larry, an 82-year-old veteran with dementia, lives with his son, Mark, and daughter-in-law, Emily. While Larry’s family is deeply committed to his care, his condition requires constant supervision, which has posed challenges for their daily lives. Emily works from home, which helps manage Larry’s needs during the week, but his condition often keeps Mark and Emily confined to the house, limiting their ability to take breaks or enjoy personal time.

Mark and Emily were searching for a solution that would allow them to balance their responsibilities while providing Larry with the supervision he required. They needed a way to get occasional respite and support without being tied to a rigid schedule. They were even able to schedule care for an overnight hotel stay in Branson. The Care On-Demand Program turned out to be the ideal solution.

Here’s how the Care On-Demand program addressed their needs:
